Texas Living Waters Policy Summit: Defining Our Water Future Together
About this Event
This December, the Texas Living Waters coalition will convene policymakers, advocates, industry leaders, researchers, and community voices from across the state for a forward-looking conversation designed to move toward practical, durable solutions. Through dynamic speakers, innovative perspectives, and engaging conversations, attendees will explore the biggest water challenges facing Texas, from growth and groundwater to innovation and long-term sustainability, while helping build a shared vision for what comes next. More than a conference, this gathering is designed to be a premier forum for thoughtful, solutions-oriented dialogue on the future of water in Texas.
In the coming weeks we will share the full agenda and exciting speaker announcements. Topics we will cover include:
- The Promise of Proposition 4
- Understanding the State Water Plan: What it is, What it isn’t
- Building Flood Resilience in Texas Communities
- Groundwater Management: Challenges and Opportunities
- Data Centers and the State’s Vision for Long-Term Water Security
- Best Practices for Evaluation of Seawater Desalination
- What Healthy Rivers and Bays mean to Texas
The Texas Living Waters coalition is excited to convene a unique gathering that will challenge and inspire attendees, and serve as a catalyst for important conversations around Texas’ water future that will happen during the 90th Legislative Session.
