Texas Independence Day Celebration (Texas Exes Katy Chapter)

Celebrate one of the proudest traditions in Texas and at The University of Texas at Austin at the Texas Exes Katy Chapter Texas Independence Day (TID) Celebration!

Join fellow Longhorns on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Katy Beer Garden for an afternoon of Texas pride and Longhorn spirit. Enjoy UT-themed cocktails, celebratory cake, and great company as we honor a UT tradition dating back to 1896.

We may even be joined by a special appearance from the Longhorn Alumni Band, adding to the sights, sounds, and spirit of the celebration. Come reconnect with alumni and friends, raise a glass to the Lone Star State, and celebrate the university that brought us together.
