Calling all Texas high school students, teachers, administrators, and organizations interested in helping improve compliance with Texas’ high school voter registration law –– join experts and partners at our 2023 Texas HSVR Summer Convening!For over 35 years, Texas law has required high schools, both public and private, to offer voter registration to eligible students twice a school year. However, recent reports have shown that at its peak – only 36% of Texas schools were fulfilling this promise and requirement.
Texas students deserve full access to their fundamental right to vote, and a guarantee from their schools and their lawmakers that their rights are promised and protected.
