In the last State Board of Education meeting CAIR attempted to claim the Alamo was an Islamic building and that kids should be taught that Muslims played a part in our Texas History. (which is false!). At the end of the meeting she said, “I’m not submitting,” Zayan said as she left, “I’m coming again in June.” 😡
• The SBOE meeting is scheduled for June 22–26, 2026.
• Based on the SBOE’s official registration rules, public testimony sign-up normally starts at 8:00 a.m. CST on the Tuesday before the meeting week and closes at 5:00 p.m. Friday before the meeting. So registration opens: Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. CST and closes Friday, June 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CST

Most SBOE committee hearings and public testimony sessions are on the first floor, usually in one of these rooms.

- Room 1-100
- Occasionally G-100C for special meetings
• Speaking time is generally 2 minutes.
• You must choose whether you are speaking For, Against, or Comment On an agenda item.
• The exact day this topic is heard depends on which committee handles the curriculum item. Social studies/TEKS issues are usually heard by the Committee of the Full Board or Committee on Instruction.
• The detailed June agenda probably will not be posted until about 1–2 weeks before the meeting.
• As soon as the SBOE post the exact day between June 22-26, we will post it here on our page (This Is Texas Freedom Force).

Do you want your kids to be taught false info about islam in Texas History? If Texans intend to put a stop to the Islamization of Texas, this is a battle we need to be at. We already know CAIR will be there and in greater numbers. Make plans to travel to Austin this day. You have over a month to prepare. Write your statement out, so you are ready. This Is Texas Freedom Force leadership and members will be attending. So take a stand for Texas. We will make an event if you want to stay informed on this matter.
