Teviot People's Kitchen - Midsummer fair

Join the Teviot People’s Kitchen for a midsummer fair at R-Urban!

The day will feature mushroom log inoculation, pickle making, fermentation tutorials and a yummy seasonal lunch. Plants, seedlings, ferments and pickles will also be available for sale by donation.

The Teviot People's Kitchen is a new initiative for growing, cooking, preserving and learning together at R-Urban. We're running events throughout the summer months.

R-Urban Poplar is an eco-civic hub located on the edge of the Teviot estate, in Poplar, London.

The project aims to develop civic resilience in the face of climate change through a public programme of events, workshops and infrastructures. We have two main strands to our work, the first works towards prototyping a just food system which places circularity at its heart, the second focuses on resource re-use and repair.
