Tetrapak Printing Workshop

Learn the technique of printing with intaglio ink using recycled tetrapak cartons.

In this workshop you will use example images to create your own unique design/designs. If you have an idea in mind, please bring along any images which will inspire you (and others).

Using transfer paper you will transfer your drawn image onto the tetrapak before using a scribe to scratch it out. Learn how to manipulate the intaglio ink to produce different effects.

There will be a range of paper to experiment with, and you can make anything from little gift tags to an A3 print.The intaglio ink you will be using is a bit sticky, but I'll have wipes at the ready and there is a sink for hand washing at the end.·

You can trace photographs but this is tricky to get right and is perfect for an experienced crafter who likes a challenge!

Skill Level: This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
