Join Alternative Ulstours' 'Master of the Macabre' Andrew Johnston for a festive Terror Talk on the 'Christmas Devil' himself - Krampus - and other malevolent entities from winter folklore.
Andrew will map out an A-to-Z of the seasonal bogeymen who roam Europe's cold countryside, searching for naughty children to punish!
From anthropophagous witches to a zombie horse, 'Father Whipper' to the Yule Lads, these holiday horrors are truly the stuff of nightmares, hosting recurring themes of murder, mutilation and infanticide.
The illustrated talk will also delve into the modern controversy surrounding Zwarte Piet, aka 'Black Pete', Santa's demonic sidekick, that has involved protests and even bans.
