Terrarium Workshop at the Borough by Garden in a Glass KCMO

Join Garden in a Glass KCMO at the Borough and make your own live plant terrarium. We are happy to make this a family friendly event open to kids and adults. Kids and kids at heart can choose to make an enclosed fairy garden OR an enclosed terrarium using plants, natural elements (rocks, wood, crystals), our hand-made pottery, and vintage figurines. We will talk about substrate, terrarium layers, the correct plants, design, and building elements (you can choose to decorate your lid, build a pottery mushroom, or make a stick arbor to add to your terrarium). Terrariums are beautiful and fun to make, they make great gifts AND they are easy to take care of with minimum water and light. Come early to the Borough to grab a bite to eat or a drink (tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine, and beer are all available).
