Terminal Two
Beyond departures and arrivals lies a world in flux. The familiar rhythms of the terminal—the hum of conveyor belts, winding café queues, and the constant drift of passing travellers—form the backdrop of Terminal Two, which uses the airport as a metaphorical space of arrival, departure and uncertainty, exploring how people navigate change and search for meaning in moments of transition.
At the centre of Terminal Two is Mr. Selva, a long-serving airport janitor whose final day on the job reframes retirement not as an ending, but as a moment of renewal —affirming that purpose, identity and self-discovery continue to evolve with age.
Presented by Temple of Fine Arts Singapore, Terminal Two delivers an immersive theatrical experience blending Indian classical music, traditional dance and contemporary performance. Through movement, music and storytelling, Terminal Two ultimately asks a quietly powerful question: when life places us at a crossroads, what guides us forward — destiny, decision, or something in between?
