Museum Meet Up is a new program that gives students a front row seat to real-world science through exhibitions, collections and exclusive opportunities to speak with Queensland Museum scientists about their work. TERM 4: This educational masterclass will see students immerse themselves in the touring exhibition Discovering Ancient Egypt.
Queensland Museum Archaeologist, Lincoln Morse will then share how science and history intersect when researching ancient civilizations before taking part in an interactive mummification workshop facilitated by cultural historian, Damien Fegan.
Curriculum Links: Science as a Human Endeavour, Historical Knowledge and Understanding, Historical Skills, Intercultural understandings with Technologies, Chemical sciences, Drama.
