The Teresa’s Hope Gala is an annual celebration dedicated to honoring the legacy of Teresa Matchem by investing in the future of students across Hopkins County. Now in its fourth year, the Gala brings together community leaders, educators, families, and supporters for an evening focused on scholarship, encouragement, and opportunity. Through this event, Teresa’s Hope provides “cap funding” scholarships and recognition awards to graduating seniors who have demonstrated perseverance, leadership, and determination throughout high school. Unlike traditional scholarships limited to tuition or books, these funds help students prepare for life’s next chapter in whatever way they need most. Beyond financial support, the Gala serves as a reminder that every student deserves to be seen, celebrated, and empowered. Teresa’s Hope continues to strengthen the community by uplifting young people and ensuring Teresa Price’s spirit of compassion, service, and hope lives on through the next generation.
