Red hair. Tattoos. And a sassy attitude to accompany her gritty power vocals and that booming electric guitar- If you’ve ever listened to live music in Nashville, you may have seen this eclectic independent artist entertaining locals and tourist alike. Tera Lynne Fister catches the room on fire with her raw soul bearing magic. Her self-titled debut album what the songstress affectionately labels “29 years of Learning” and features the singles “Hell Raiser”, “Scars”, and “Home”. An all-star team included co-writers and producers Thom Donovan and Christopher Griffiths of the Will Hoge band, as well as five-time Grammy award winner Ray Kennedy, who mastered the project. Always one to collaborate, Tera has also lent her talents as rhythm guitarist and background vocalist for Chapel Hart, Tori Allen of “The Killers”, and Graham Nancarrow (opening for acts like Neal McCoy, JoeDee Messina, Alabama), as well as a solo opening slot for the infamous Thomas Rhett. She can also be seen singing BGV’s on tapings of “Real County, a singing competition that aired on the USA Network in 2018. In the trying year of 2020, Tera Lynne experienced her CMT debut with the music video release of her single “I Understand (I Will Never Understand)” with fellow artists Graham Nancarrow and John Bohlinger. Fister and her talents have been spot lighted in substantial outlets such as Forbes and Cowboys & Indians magazines. Ten yeas of honing her craft professionally in Nashville has reiterated the importance of growth, community, and perseverance for the self-proclaimed “searcher of art and lover of color”. Tera’s creative input and gifts of empathy and compassion are just the right combination for communication with audiences of all levels, creating a sense of nostalgia and oneness, which has led to the inception of her sophomore album. Fister has spent all of 2021 and 2022 in the studio writing, recording, and coproducing this new body of work with Chris Condon, Jason Kott, and Mike Fahey, due to be released into the world in the upcoming months.
