Tequila Sirens formed in Somerville, Massachusetts when Shaun Curran (keys, vocals) and former Soft Pyramids frontman Dwight Hutchenson (guitar, vocals) began collaborating remotely during the Covid lockdown. What started as a creative outlet during a difficult period eventually grew into a full band with the addition of Whit Love (bass) and Matt Masuzzo (drums).
The band's earliest releases—the "Redesigner" EP in 2020 and "Fast Clouds" in 2021, followed by the single "Shame" in 2022—showcased their evolving sound. Since 2022, with their lineup finally solidified, Tequila Sirens began writing and recording what would become their album "Imposters."
Drawing from a wide range of musical influences, Tequila Sirens creates a sound built around organ, guitars, and electronic percussion. Their music balances memorable melodies with sonic textures that invite repeated listening, with a direct and honest approach to songcraft.
"Imposters" reflects both their position as outsiders in the Boston music scene and their experiences with imposter syndrome. Lyrically, the band tackles anxiety, grief, family relationships, and the absurdity of everyday life with genuine emotion and occasional dark humor.
With Curran and Hutchenson sharing vocal duties over Love's bass and Masuzzo's drums, Tequila Sirens creates music that prioritizes feeling and atmosphere, crafted by four musicians who are more interested in making something real than something perfect.

Daughter of the Vine is a Psych-pop-avant-garage band from Boston. The band consists of Margaret Garrett, formerly of Mr. Airplane Man, on guitar and vocals, Gregg Porter, of The Concerns, on guitar and vocals, Chris Lohring on bass, and Kurt Davis, formerly of Bullet Lavolta, Kustomized and The Konks, on drums.
The music sometimes glimmers, sometimes drones, is often melodic, but always atmospheric. The goal is a sort of communal transcendence, an escape from the here-and-now hum drum of our daily existence…Daughter of the Vine is taking off and you can come along.
Their full length l.p. Mystic Valley PKWY, ( named after a road they travel to practice every week ) came out in 2024. New material is in the pipeline, stay tuned!
Hypnotic and groovy, calling to our higher angels, Daughter of the Vine will lead you by the silver cord, onward, ever onward…
