Join us this evening as we sample five tequilas and enjoy some great Mexican food in our vintage, downtown, lounge!
The AHYP Club has been in its current home since 1930! This evening you're invited to access the normally private club for the express purpose to sample some great tequilas! You owe it to yourself to check out one of Pittsburgh's coolest and most unique venues.
Tequilas include:
Avion Tequila Silver
Flavor Profile: Notes of roasted agave, citrus (lemon/pineapple), and light white pepper.
Texture: Described as smooth, slightly oily, and light-bodied.
Usage: Versatile; enjoyable neat or on the rocks, but also popular in high-end cocktails.
Tres Agaves Organic Tequila Anejo
Flavor Profile: The taste includes sweet agave, caramel, and vanilla, balanced with oak, black pepper, and sometimes a hint of jalapeño or citrus.
Aging & Production: Aged for 18 months in Four Roses bourbon barrels. It is certified organic and additive-free.
Corralejo Tequila Extra Anejo
Flavor Profile: Dominant notes of oak, caramel, and vanilla, with undertones of citrus, spice, and occasionally cooked agave or dried fruit.
Aroma: High oak presence with hints of molasses, toasted nuts, and, for some, a notable alcoholic sting.
Mouthfeel: Described as smooth, rich, and oily.
Herradura Legend Anejo Tequila
Flavor Profile: Intense oak, butterscotch, dried fruit, and caramel with a smooth finish.
Aging: 14 months in proprietary, deeply charred barrels.

This limited-edition añejo tequila is aged to perfection, resulting in a rich, complex profile that delights the palate. Expect a harmonious medley of flavors, with notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of spice.
