Bristol Sacred Harp warmly welcomes you to our Tenth All-Day singing. Singers of any ability or experience are welcome. We have a full weekend of events scheduled, please read on for further details of events, venue accessibility and Covid policy (test required for each day of singing).
⭕ Friday 2nd May - Composium
Arrive 6:30pm for a prompt 7pm start

Please bring a dish to share for dinner on the grounds if you are able to. Heating facilities at the venue are limited so cold dishes are preferred. After the singing there is usually an informal gathering at The White Lion pub on Frenchay Common.

The pub is wheelchair-accessible (including toilets) and has indoor and outdoor seating.
We are in the conservatory which is to the left of the front door, as you look at the pub from the car park.

🚍Transport: Frenchay Quaker Meeting House is well connected by road, 5mins drive from the M4 (jct. 19). Parking is available on Beckspool Road and Frenchy Hill - you'll see the cars! The m3 Metrobus (towards Emersons Green) goes half hourly from Bristol City Centre (Colston Avenue/Lewins Mead/Bond Street) to Hambrook, which is a 10 minute walk from the Meeting House.
♿️ Accessibility:
*If you have questions about venue access, please let us know.
*Frenchay: The venue and one toilet is wheelchair accessible. There is a stairlift.
*St Anne's: The main venue has wheelchair access, but there is a step down to the toilet.
*Seating at Frenchay is mainly wooden benches, and a chair can be provided if you need to sit while leading.
*If you use reading glasses, you may want to bring them - text can be small on some songs!
*If you need a break from the singing, there is a peaceful garden out the back of both Frenchay and St Anne's.
*Covid Policy - please test on the day of each event you attend, and bring a photo of your test. Please don't attend if you test positive for Covid or if you have a communicable respiratory
infection such as a Covid, a cold or flu. We will have a small number spare tests available on the day - please leave time to take and develop the test (15-20 minutes) before singing. See full Covid policy:
