I want to do a Route 66 cruise on my way to The Truck Gathering the morning of April 17th. The plan is to start at the Route 66 museum in Elk City Ok and try to stay on Route 66 for the entire trip to Guthrie, Ok. I think once getting to OKC we have to go north from there so I guess the trip would be Elk City to OKC. Trying to stop at as many small towns and land marks for photo ops on the way. I’m not sure why time yet cause I want to see what the schedule is for the show first and see what time is the best time to arrive in Guthrie. So if anyone else wants to do the same I’ll update the plan as we get closer to the event.
