Tentacles Collective Anthology Launch

Tentacles Collective are launching our new publication 'We Are A Gentle, Angry People', an anthology by d/Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill writers!

After two and a half years of courses and masterclasses, we are delighted to present our first publication 'We Are A Gentle, Angry People', a collection of work created by writers from the Tentacles community and beyond.

We'll be celebrating with an evening of readings from our contributors and welcoming Jhalak Prize nominated writer, Tara Singh, for a headline performance following their workshop on the 7th November.

We're so excited for this opportunity to come together and honour the voices featured in the anthology, which will be available to purchase in person at the event and to order online.

Pricing

We believe disabled-led art and community spaces should be as accessible as possible. Tickets for this event are offered on a donation basis, and no one will be turned away because of a lack of funds.

PA/carer tickets are FREE - please get in contact with us at [email protected] or let us know in the booking comments if you are attending in person with a PA/carer.

Access Information

• The venue is level access with an accessible, gender-neutral toilet and air ventilation system.
• There will be online and in person BSL interpreters available. When booking your ticket, please indicate if you require BSL.

• There will be auto-generated captions available online and printed versions of work being read out in person.
• Anyone can step away as and when needed during the event
• If you have access requirements that are not met above, please email us and we will endeavour to meet them.
