On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Apollo Club of Minneapolis — Minnesota's longest-running male chorus — is celebrating our 130th anniversary with a Festival Concert at the Ordway in St. Paul, featuring performances from the Minnesota Boychoir and a special one-day festival choir of adult tenors and basses.
We hope to gather a choir of 130 singers from the Twin Cities and beyond, so we hope you’ll consider joining us for the day! We're proud to be part of the world-class Twin Cities choral community, and it would mean so much to be joined onstage by tenors and basses from Minnesota and beyond!
For festival choir registrants, $35 covers the cost of sheet music, a boxed dinner, and a seat to watch the Boychoir and Apollo sing for the first half of the concert before the festival choir takes the stage. Singers should dress comfortably for the afternoon rehearsals and are encouraged to wear the traditional concert attire from their home choirs.
