Oklahoma singer songwriter Tennessee Jet just released his fifth album,"Ranchero," one that captures the essence of his red dirt roots, blending twangy guitars and fiddle tracks like "The Oklahoma Rose" with the grungy groove of another standout track, "Ray Wylie Hubbard." "Ranchero" also features TJ's full band version of "Bury My Bones," a song which has achieved platinum streaming status. His lyrics and production continue to reflect his personal reflections, making"Ranchero"a testament to his authentic and diverse approach to country music."I'm always looking to challenge the definition of what a specific genre is supposed to sound like," Jet says. "People are aching for truth in country music again, and that's what these records came to represent. "His albums, from "South Dakota" through "The Country" and into "Ranchero," are a testament to his artistic crossroads, where nostalgia meets innovation, crafting a version of country music that's both fresh and familiar.
