Renowned accomplished Malaysian musician Tengku Irfan returns to conduct the MPO, a testament of the MPO’s ability to nurture exceptional musical talents who thrive internationally. This concert opens with Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun followed by Tuba Concerto (featuring soloist Brett Stemple) written by John Williams; it is a rollicking adventure similar to his cinematic masterpieces.
