Tenebrae Effect Workshop
About this Event
Join Nigel in the Chapter House of Bristol Cathedral to discover what makes Tenebrae's choral sound so recognisable. Working on music from our 25th Anniversary Album by John Tavener and Kerensa Briggs, you will cover some of the vocal techniques that Tenebrae's singers use to achieve the group's trademark 'Passion & Precision'
Sheet music will be provided. We recommend that participants have some familiarity with the music or strong sightreading skills in order to get the most out of this session.
Repertoire
John Tavener: Mother of God, Here I Stand
Kerensa Briggs: Media vita
Workshop attendees are entitled to 10% off tickets to Tenebrae's performance at Bristol Cathedral the previous evening. This discount code will be sent to workshop attendees via email after they have completed their ticket purchase for the workshop.
