The year is 2017. In a funk of pre-nuptial panic*, a woman dares to dream that her friend, Dr Robobnik, might be able to assemble a band of heroes to SAVE HER WEDDING**.
The gig goes without a hitch [*cough*] and the four titans of tuneage vow to continue their epic, selfless quest to bring rock riffs, film themes and metal sensibility to ceilidhs everywhere.
A couple of line-up changes and a ton of ceilidhs in tents, barns, halls and on festival stages later, the now five-piece Powerhouse Ceilidh Band gears up to celebrate its tenth anniversary on Friday 9th April 2027 at Crookes Social Club. Be there and embrace destiny!
