About this Event

Step into history at one of the Upper Hudson Valley's finest historic house museums and gardens. New feature exhibits for 2022: a special focus on women's lives from the 1700s-1800s. Learn about the lives of Ten Broecks (of Dutch heritage) and Olcotts (of Quaker background), plus African Americans and immigrant servants' lives.

All children (to age 18) are FREE. We recommend at least one adult per child under 5. We suggest you take an additional 20-30 minutes to explore our extensive gardens on your own with self-guided tours.

------

Note: all Friday 1 pm tours will have the special theme: Healthy, Wealthy & Wise: Households & Health at the Ten Broeck Mansion

Learn how families stayed healthy from the 1700s-1800s as you progress room-by-room through the Ten Broeck Mansion. Discover hidden drains and linen cupboards - and learn about underground waterways and other evidence informing us about changing attitudes towards health and wellness in Albany NY.
