Astrophysical Maser is an electronic music artist from Wollongong who is influenced by an extremely wide variety of sounds and ideas, including but not limited to the cycles of nature, the metaphysical, the present, the psychedelic. Tweaked and influenced by bird sounds and spinning pulsars, their live sets are mostly improvised and as such there's a duo element of risk and reward. Astrophysical Maser has created a special set for Tempo Comodo that will focus on one hundred and ten [110] beats per minute.

Andre Meyer is a Brazilian global beats collector and connoisseur of eclectic electronic music, whose passion for world travel and culture inspires his dance floor experiences. His hypnotic sets journey from down tempo tribal rhythms to organic house indie disco, transporting you into uplifting, cosmic realms. Andre has been igniting club, festival and barefoot dance floors since 1996, playing all over the world to audiences in Ibiza, Boom Festival, Rainbow Serpent, Universo Paralelo and more. He now lives in Bellingen, Australia where he hosts regular ecstatic dance parties with his wife Rache.

He’s renowned for playing fresh sounds and forward thinking electronic music and has been involved in putting on some of the most legendary parties and events in Sydney and beyond. He’s been voted Australian DJ of the Year, and included twice in DJ Magazine's prestigious list of the world’s Top 100 DJs. He’s also released music on labels as diverse as Motorik, Junkbeats, Thunk and Future Classic.

Evolved from Phil Smart’s innovative and well received ‘Slow Dance Experiment’ concept, Tempo Comodo is a new party series further exploring the slower realms of danceable beats. From 70bpm downtempo to midtempo chug, anything under 120bpm is fair game as long as it's made for dancing! Getting down to slower tempos opens up a whole new world of space, rhythm and movement. Come and join the slow dance revolution as we venture deep into a diverse musical universe of varied subgenres, influences and styles. Expect slo-haus, post-nudisco, chillrave, chuggy low-slung grooves, and any slo-mo superlative you can throw into the mix.
