Tempo Dance Festival Te Rerenga o Tere proudly presents a series of community hui, offering our creative whānau a space to kōrero, connect, and create. Hosted by Tāmaki Makaurau’s esteemed dance creatives alongside Moss Te Ururangi Patterson, these hui are an invitation to come together and explore the theme of ‘Stories of Place’.
Join us on Monday, 14th October with Pacific Dance New Zealand at The Factory Theatre, Onehunga; on Tuesday, 15th October with Atamira Dance Company at Te Pou Theatre, Corban Estate; and on Wednesday, 16th October with the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries at the University of Auckland.
Each hui will feature movement workshops, facilitated discussions, and showcases, providing an opportunity to share, learn, and celebrate the power of place through dance.
