Temple University Jazz Band with Terell Stafford
Join the renowned Temple University Jazz Band (TUJB), under the direction of Terell Stafford, for an exciting evening of jazz music. The TUJB, acclaimed for its dynamic performances and award-winning musicianship, has graced prestigious venues like Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Kimmel Center. Known for its rich sound and energetic presence, the band has performed alongside jazz legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Jimmy Heath, and Karrin Allyson.

Terell Stafford, an esteemed trumpet player and Director of Jazz Studies at Temple University, has performed with jazz icons including McCoy Tyner, Frank Wess, and Benny Golson. As a highly respected educator, Stafford is celebrated for his contributions to jazz both on stage and in the classroom.

Joining them for this special performance is jazz saxophonist Donald Harrison, an artist known for his distinctive sound and his influence in bridging traditional jazz with contemporary styles. Harrison’s collaborations with luminaries such as Art Blakey and Cindy Blackman Santana have solidified his place as one of the most dynamic figures in modern jazz.
