Temple SupportTemple Support is an ongoing volunteer opportunity that keeps our sacred space running with care and intention. Volunteers may assist with a wide range of tasks including cleaning and dusting surfaces, wiping down areas, sweeping and mopping floors, caring for house plants, arranging flowers or offerings, tidying the altar and sacred spaces, organizing the Freedom Library, restocking supplies, taking out trash and recycling, maintaining outdoor areas and entryways, greeting and directing visitors, setting up and breaking down for ceremonies, light errands and supply runs, and administrative support.
No special skills are required — just a willing heart and a readiness to serve.
Why It Matters
A well-maintained temple is a living, breathing space where the community can gather, heal, and grow. Consistent care ensures the temple remains a place of dignity, peace, and pride for all who enter. Without volunteer support, that responsibility falls on a small few — your presence makes a real difference.
The Impact
Every task, big or small, helps preserve a sacred space that serves the entire community. Volunteers keep the Freedom Library organized and accessible, ensure the temple is welcoming for all visitors, and allow temple leadership to focus on programming, guidance, and community care
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Volunteers should wear modest, covered clothing out of respect for the sacred space. All cleaning supplies and tools will be provided — just bring yourself and a readiness to serve.
