LECTURE: Most research on how people leran to make stone tools is conducted with adult participants, but children almost certainly would have been taught the same skills. Emory University doctoral candidate Megan Kilgore has been studying how modern children learn to make stone tools in order to provide context for how adults and children may learn differently. This provides a more complete picture of social learning in the Paleolithic. Join Kilgore as she chronicles her dissertation research, from her partnership with Tellus to the exciting results of her data collection.
