This summer we're running another Telling Tales, our free storytelling and writing workshop for children aged 6–11.The sessions are themed around journeys, travel and transport.
Inspired by adventure stories like The Faraway Tree and Around the World in 80 Days, you'll be heading off to imaginary lands, inventing new methods of travel and playing with words to bring your own stories and poems to life.
Led by Chris, one of our library team, founder of Spork! Poetry and former Bard of Exeter. Over 75 minutes you'll play games, respond to creative prompts and make something you're proud of. The sessions are open to all, even if your child doesn't normally enjoy writing. Both sessions are broadly the same.
