Tellabration! A Worldwide Celebration of Storytelling

Every year, in November, storytelling guilds and story enthusiasts around the globe share their talents in concerts held in venues large to celebrate the art of storytelling. Locally, TELLABRATION!™ brings together each area’s celebrated storytellers, to delight, captivate, and mesmerize audiences with their tales. It creates a network of storytelling enthusiasts young and older, bonded together in spirit.

This year, Storytellers of New Mexico is delighted to again partner with the Larry P. Abraham Agri-Nature Center and Nature Niños to bring together listeners of all ages, for family-friendly, program of stories that feature themes of nature, farm and food.

What kind of stories will you hear? Folk tales, family tales, perhaps a tall tale.... all tied together by a shared and deep respect for nature, family, culture and tradition. If you are older than yesterday, and younger than tomorrow you can be sure that the tales will be age appropriate!

It's been said that "The shortest distance between people is a story." Whether you're already a fan of storytelling or simply looking for a fun and engaging evening, TELLABRATION!™ is a rare opportunity to enjoy the ancient art of storytelling in the company of family, friends, and neighbors. We invite you to experience the magic of live storytelling firsthand.

After the storytelling, as in the past several years, we invite everyone to step outside to mingle, and enjoy a campfire, conversation and free S'mores.

This year we are presenting the storytelling in a smaller more intimate space at the center and need to limit participation to 70 people. We expect to sell out (kids under 12 Free) and highly recommend reserving your tickets as soon as you can.
