How to make sense of all this information? Through the power of story!

Stories organize complex data in packages that convey meaning, provide hierarchies of value, and are easy to remember. But to leverage the power of story, the storyteller must know how to Tell that Story!

This interactive session will make the case for story as a way of tightly organizing complex information and provide best practices for using story in a variety of business applications. Finally, the session will provide five key elements of powerful story so the participant can create powerful stories for business applications.

Andrew Black Consulting

Andrew Black is an Organization Development (OD) expert, helping companies develop increased capacity to fulfill their missions. Andrew is a skilled group facilitator and classroom learning leader. His PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies is from the University of Missouri, Columbia. His book Signature Pedagogies for the Playwriting Classroom was published by Bloomsbury in July 2025.

In addition to his work as a consultant, Andrew is an accomplished playwright and has had several plays produced across the United States. This creative work helped develop his expert storytelling skills and powers his ability to develop compelling narratives in the service of business outcomes.
