Singer Rachel Sassi and producer Victor De Roo (known from De Nooit Moede) form a French-speaking synthwave/new wave duo. Their first EP 'Paysages tristes' was released earlier this year on De Roo's own label (Kontakt Group).

[ENG] Controversial musician and ex-DJ hailing from Brussels. Victor De Roo is part of the bands De Nooit Moede, Vanderschrick and Prutser ; worked together with Alex Deforce, Meetsysteem and Rachel Sassi ; released on labels Stroom, Knekelhuis, Social Harmony, and his co-owned Kontakt Group.
[FR] Artiste controversé et ex-dj originaire de Bruxelles. Victor De Roo fait partie des groupes De Nooite Moede, Vanderschrik et Prutser ; a travaillé avec Alex Deforce, Meetsysteem et Rachel Sassi ; et a sorti de la musique sur les labels Stroom, Knekelhuis, Social Harmony et sa copropriété Kontakt Group.

RACHEL SASSI
[ENG] Rachel Sassi writes, sings, reads, and sometimes plays in theater and for experimental cinema. She sang in the Pierre Normal group until 2017, she currently sings with Victor De Roo, Ibn al Rabin, and Prosper Thon. She reads her texts, alone or accompanied by the musician Frédérique Franke. She wrote Contre-Lame, published by Primitive editions in 2017. She collaborated with Victor De Roo for the 45 rpm paysages tristes released on the Kontakt Group label.
[FR] Rachel Sassi écrit, chante, lit, et parfois joue au théâtre et pour le cinéma expérimental. Elle a chanté dans le groupe Pierre Normal jusqu’en 2017, elle chante actuellement avec Victor De Roo, Ibn al Rabin, et Prosper Thon. Elle lit ses textes, seule, ou accompagnée par la musicienne Frédérique Franke. Elle a écrit Contre- Lame, publié aux éditions Primitive en 2017.
