For the first time since 2011, we will run passengers and goods trains at Telford Steam Railway with centurion GWR 56XX steam locomotive 5619. The goods train will depart from Spring Village station behind 5619 at approx 1:20pm, 2pm and 2:35pm for a full round trip of the line. As a special treat, brakevan rides on the goods train will be available to purchase on the day from the shop at Spring Village (brakevan rides £5 per person (in addition to your rover ticket) on a first come first served basis. Max 10 people per brakevan per goods trip covering Spring Village/Lawley Halt/Horsehay & Dawley station and return. Brake’van passengers must show their tickets to the guard and may only get on and off the brakevan at Spring Village station). 11am, 12pm and 3:30pm departures from Spring Village and return will be passenger trains.🚆
