Telford Fostering Information Event

Could you open your home and heart to a child who needs it?
If you've ever thought about fostering, or you're simply curious about what it involves, we'd love for you to join us at our Fostering Open Evening, a relaxed, no-pressure information event hosted by Telford Fostering (Telford & Wrekin Council).
Fostering is one of the most rewarding things you can do. It's a chance to give a local child a safe, stable and loving place to call home, and the difference that makes to a young person's life is immeasurable.
At the event, you'll be able to:
Learn about the fostering process from start to finish
Discover the different types of foster care available
Chat with experienced foster carers who've been on this journey themselves.
Ask any questions you have in a warm, welcoming environment
Find out about the training and support you'd receive every step of the way.
Whether you're ready to take the next step or just want to find out more, this evening is the perfect place to start. It could be the beginning of a truly life-changing journey for you and for a child in Telford.
We can't wait to meet you.
