Join a hands on workshop led by Tejidos Chakana and Poder del Pueblo about the power behind the magic of story telling thourgh weaving shakiras, an ancient tradition by indigenous people in Colombia. You will learn how Tejidos Chakana has used the process of weaving shakiras for healing and reconciliation for victims of the armed conflict in Colombia. No need to know weaving from before. This will be a bilingual workshop.

Acompañanos en este taller junto a Tejidos Chakana y Poder del Pueblo para aprender del poder detrás de contar historias por medio de el tejido de las shakiras, una tradición ancestral de comunidades indigenas en Colombia. Aprenderás como Tejidos Chakana ha usado el proceso de tejer shakiras para crear procesos de sanación y reconciliación con víctimas del conflicto armado en Colombia. No necesitas saber tejer como experiencia previa. Será un taller bilingue.
