I will be taking part in the midnight walk this year the day before the anniversary of my best friend Rachel’s dear mam, Pauline. Which will finish on her anniversary. In 2023 Pauline was diagnosed with lung cancer, and after a short but brutal battle she sadly lost her life. Rachel supported her mam amazingly throughout this, and in Paulines final hours, she wished to be at Teesside hospice. Their support was absolutely fantastic, both for Pauline and for Rachel.
