In this half-day workshop for 12- to 15-year-olds, teens will get creative with words, experiment with fun writing prompts, and learn tricks to become better writers. This workshop is in English. English fluency is not required - if participants feel comfortable reading and speaking in English, they should feel comfortable in the workshop.

ABOUT THIS TEACHER
Jennifer Gryzenhout is a writer of fiction and creative nonfiction from Calgary, Canada. She teaches English literature at the International School of Amsterdam and creative writing with the Collective. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia.
ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL WRITERS' COLLECTIVE
We've been teaching fiction and poetry courses in Amsterdam since 2011 and formed the International Writers’ Collective in early 2017. We launched our online programme in mid-2017.
We are an audited educational institution and are listed at CRKBO.nl, the central register for short vocational education in the Netherlands.
Our programme goes beyond the traditional workshop model to offer a structured education in writing. We offer four levels of courses for adults as well as single-evening masterclasses and events.
