Teen Tiny Desk with Jewel Moore Music Studio and Crescendo Creative Colony

Teen Tiny Desk is a youth talent showcase and performance opportunity for singers ages 10–18 who want to build confidence and gain experience performing in front of a live audience.

Hosted at Good Spirit Café, this event creates a warm and welcoming environment where young artists can share music they love in a supportive setting. Rather than a traditional recital, Teen Tiny Desk is designed as a creative showcasewhere singers can express themselves, practice stage presence, and celebrate each other’s talent.

Each performer will be welcomed as a featured artist for the evening and will receive 8 minutes of dedicated show time on stage to perform up to two songs.

Beyond the performances themselves, the evening will include a few creative elements designed to celebrate the performers and create a fun, memorable experience for both artists and audience members.

Each performer receives:

• 8 minutes of dedicated stage time (maximum two songs)
• A supportive and encouraging performance environment
• The opportunity to share their music in a creative showcase setting
• A welcoming audience of family, friends, and fellow performers

Our goal is to create a space where young singers feel encouraged, celebrated, and proud of their time on stage.

• Ages 10–18
• Up to 2 songs per performer
• 8 minutes maximum stage time

All performers must register by April 1.

After completing registration, performers will receive a Performer Information Form via email to submit their bio, song selections, and performance details.

Song submissions will be reviewed to ensure age-appropriate content for the event and audience.

Seating is limited, but standing room will be available. Families and friends are welcome to attend and support the performers.

Guests are encouraged to support Good Spirit Café by purchasing food and beverages during the event.

Jewel Moore Music Studio provides vocal training and performance opportunities that help young singers develop confidence, technique, and artistry.

Crescendo Creative Colony is a creative community rooted in gathering, reflection, and connection. Through thoughtfully designed events, it creates welcoming spaces where creatives and curious minds can slow down, share ideas, and engage with creativity in a supportive, social environment.
