Teen Mural Summer Camp

Teen Mural Camp is a collaborative, hands-on public art experience where teens come together to design and create a large-scale mural for the community. This year marks our 5th year offering Teen Mural Camp, marking five years of creating meaningful, real-world art experiences for young artists in our community!
This camp is all about teamwork, creative expression, and learning how individual artistic voices can come together to create something meaningful in a shared space. Campers will explore concept development, sketching, painting techniques, and large-scale composition as they work toward a finished mural installation.
This is a full-week, immersive camp experience where participation in all sessions is required as the mural develops each day.
🎨 What Campers Will Create
Throughout the week, campers will collaboratively design and paint a large-scale mural that will be installed in a local community space.
Campers will contribute to different sections of the mural, learning how to work together while still expressing their own creative ideas. They will be guided through sketching, painting, layering color, and refining details as the mural comes to life over the course of the week. Every camper plays a meaningful role in the final piece, and the finished mural becomes a lasting contribution to the community.
Final location details are still being finalized with a downtown, indoor installation space, and will be shared with enrolled families as soon as they are confirmed.

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
🎨 Suggested Ages: 11–16 years old
🎟 Full-Week Enrollment Required: This is a collaborative mural project that builds throughout the week
🥪 What to Bring: Refillable water bottle + optional snack
🌞 Outdoor Time: Weather permitting, we will take short breaks outdoors during the session.
