New year, new threads!
Join the Kemper Museum Teen Arts Council and textile artist, Aimee Hagedorn, for a cozy afternoon exploring creative mending techniques.
Have a favorite item that needs a patch? Bring it to the session! At this workshop, participants will learn the value of mending, embellishing, and personalizing garments through various means of stitching, patching, and embroidery.
Leave with your own unique patch created from repurposed materials and found fabrics. All materials (as well as hot chocolate and treats) will be provided!
