🤩 Throw Down: One-Night Wheel Workshop for Teens (Ages 13+)
Hey Teens! Are you ready to ditch the screen and try something truly hands-on and awesome? We are hosting a special, one-night workshop just for you!
This is your chance to get behind the potter's wheel and experience the mesmerizing art of ceramics. Join us for 90 minutes of focused fun where you'll dive headfirst into the basics of the potter's wheel.
What's the Plan?
This is all about trying something new, getting your hands messy, and having an absolute blast! Our friendly instructor will guide you step-by-step through the core techniques: centering the clay, opening up the form, and pulling up the walls.
The main goal is simple: to have fun and discover your creative potential! You'll be working toward creating a small vessel—maybe a simple bowl or cup. A finished, take-home piece isn't guaranteed, but every teen will get a fantastic introduction to the wheel and a great story to tell!
Finishing & Firing (The "Keep It" Option)
We don't include firing in the base price so that those who just want the experience don't have to pay for the product.
Firing & Glaze Fee: Each student can keep a limit of ONE piece they create, there is a $15 fee. Please make sure to pay before you leave the studio.
Glazing: This fee covers the cost of two kiln firings and the glazes. You can schedule a follow-up time to return to the studio and apply your choice of colors, in 2 weeks.
Collection: Once your pieces have been fired for the final time, your masterpieces will be ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks.
Want to Keep Your Creation?
If you succeed in making a piece you love and want to keep, that's fantastic! You can schedule a time to come back and glaze your item with us for an additional $15. Glazing is the process that gives your piece color, shine, and durability, transforming it from a fragile clay form into a beautiful, functional ceramic piece.
Spaces are limited for this special introductory session, so don't wait!

Grab your spot and get ready to throw some clay!
