Ages 12-18: Do you like writing? Are you creative? Creative writing class is just for you! For an hour once a week we will cover different elements of creative writing in the short story form and explore different aspects of the fantasy and science fiction genres. The class is designed to teach beginners of the practice or challenge experts with fun lessons, discussions, and writing prompts!Abbey Shoffner is an English major currently studying at Indiana State University. She has loved writing stories since she was young and plans to expand that passion into novels and poetry collections in the future. She currently has poems published in two university creative writing journals. She also loves to teach and is very excited to teach her first creative writing class this summer.
