Teen Basics Of Clay

Come join a fun introductory approach to clay hand building! In this course, we will learn the fundamental methods to hand build including coil, slab, and pinch to create 6-10 completed functional and sculptural pieces. Artists will be encouraged to think creatively about how they interact with the world and create a final piece of the prompt, utilizing their newfound knowledge of hand building techniques. Your young artist will also learn about surface treatments and glaze to make their artistic visions come to life! This course is designed for teens ages 11-17.

This class has a $290 fee for all 10 weeks.
