Teen 1st Responder Camp will be held at the Emergency Medicine Institute at 2100 Mack Blvd., Allentown, PA. The camp is designed for teens from 13 - 17 years old who are interested in careers in the medical or 1st Responder Field. Camp participants will have the opportunity to interact with all levels of health and public safety professionals including fire, police, EMS, K9s, wilderness medicine, physicians, nurses and more! Camp participants will also participate in a tour through various departments in the hospital including the Emergency Department and Trauma Bay.
All participants will be certified in American Heart Association CPR/First Aid and Stop the Bleed, along with learning life and business skills throughout the week. Teens will also deliver a 5-
minute oral presentation to their camp peers on any health/public safety topic.
Family members are invited on the last day to watch the presentations.
Camp fee is $200 which includes a camp t-shirt, light breakfast each day, CPR and First Aid certification, and Stop-the-Bleed certification.
