About this Event
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, TEDxHarbourfront returns to the shores of Lake Ontario for one extraordinary day of ideas worth spreading. Hosted at George Brown College's stunning Waterfront Campus, this is not a conference, not a networking happy hour, and not another panel discussion. It is a carefully curated gathering of more than ten extraordinary speakers from neuroscience, architecture, artificial intelligence, community building, technology, entrepreneurship, health, and urban design.
The theme " Bridges & Brains " is no accident. The waterfront has always been a place of connection: between peoples, disciplines, and the city and the lake itself. This year, we explore the bridges we build between minds, neighbourhoods, and futures.
What you will leave with
- One idea that changes how you see the world. We curate speakers who don't just inform - they permanently shift perspective.
- One person who changes where you go next. The most valuable relationships in your life did not happen by accident. We design for them.
Who should attend
Researchers , Students and academics, founders and builders, urban planners and architects, students and early-career professionals, community leaders, and curious humans of every background. Genuine curiosity has always been the only qualification that mattered.
The day Doors open at 11:30 AM. The full-day program runs 12:00 PM β 7:00 PM with structured networking between sessions, a curated post-event reception with cocktails and music, and an optional Harbourfront walk along Lake Ontario. All registered attendees receive access to the post-event digital hub featuring full speaker recordings, slide decks, and reading lists within two weeks of the event.
