TEDx Manitou Springs Event

Event Times:

• Live talks are 12pm - 6pm with an intermission.
• Experiential booths open at 10am.
• Opportunity to meet the Speakers at intermission and at the end of the event.

Event Location:

Event is at 110 Pawnee Ave., Manitou Springs, CO - the Manitou Springs Elementary School.

COVID-19:

• All attendees will be required to wear masks indoors. The City of Manitou Springs has a mask mandate for all businesses at this time.
• We also have limited our ticket sales so that social distancing is available.

Parking:

Parking in Manitou Springs can be challenging - so plan ahead! There is parking around the school and several parking lots that require a short walk uphill to get to the school.

FOOD DRIVE:

We will be hosting a food drive in conjunction with the Manitou Springs School District! Bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation and be entered into a drawing to win a TEDxManitouSprings merchandise item of your choice!

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxManitouSprings, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxManitouSprings event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

COVID-19 related refunds:

In the event that social distancing or additional mandates are put into place on September 25th that will require us to cancel the live portion of the event, we will not issue refunds to those who have purchased tickets.

All ticketed individuals will receive the livestream link and will be invited to attend a future TEDxManitouSprings event at no cost.
