Tecnicas de Anudado: Fabrica Tu Collar Con Cuerdas

El curso consiste en conocer los diferentes materiales que se utilizará para crear tu propio collar de cuerdas o cordones, la mayor parte seria usar materiales reciclados de algodón y otros como polyester reciclado. Mencionaremos y conoceremos acerca de algunos artistas textiles que influyeron en el proyecto. Aprenderán a diferenciar los materiales, las medidas y para qué sirve cada uno. Khori, la artista, les enseñara a realizar tres tipos de nudos, primero practicarán con cada uno y luego realizaremos un collar de cuerda / cordon con uno de los nudos aprendidos. Este taller es para niños y adultos de 12 años en adelante. Menores de edad deben de ser acompañados por un adulto.

This course will introduce you to the different materials used to create your own rope or cord necklace, primarily using recycled cotton and other materials such as recycled polyester. We will discuss and learn about some textile artists who influenced this project. You will learn to differentiate between the materials, their measurements, and their uses. Khori, the artists, will teach you three types of knots; you will practice each one, and then we will create a rope/cord necklace using one of the knots you've learned. This workshop is for children and adults aged 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The instruction for this workshop will be primarily in Spanish, but translation will be available.
