techstars_ Startup Weekend Women Reno

is an exciting and immersive foray into the world of startups. Over an action-packed three days, you’ll meet the very best mentors, investors, co-founders, and sponsors to show you how to get more done faster, and maybe even start that business.

On the first evening you'll meet your fellow attendees, brainstorm business ideas and form teams. Throughout Saturday and Sunday you'll work with your team to build your business, with strategic workshops and mentorship throughout the weekend. The event wraps with a pitch competition where judges will choose a winner to receive a prize package of business support resources.

Whether you've had a busines in the past, are a current founder, or this is your first time exploring what life is like as a startup - this event is for you!
This event is taking place over International Women's Day, and is 1 of 38 events happening around the globe as part of techstars_ Startup Weekend Women initiative. Women are strongly encouraged to participate, but the event is open to everyone! Come on your own, or bring a friend. You do not need a team to register.

• Friday, March 6: 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Innevation Center
• Saturday, March 7: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Innevation Center
• Sunday, March 8: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Innevation Center
• Pitch competition begins at 5pm at nearby restaurant (location TBD)

All meals are provided during this event: Dinner Friday evening, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday. Please message the organizers if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
