TECHForward 2025

TECHforward 2025 addresses gender disparity in engineering and computer science while bridging the gap between the two industries—who often work closely in practice—with a focus on elevating opportunities for women and non-binary-identifying UBC students. Organized by UBC Women in Computer Science (WiCS), the event features networking, speaker sessions, and workshops aimed at empowering attendees to build confidence and form meaningful, lasting, and impactful connections. Our primary goal is to provide underrepresented genders with the tools and networks necessary for long-term success, with an emphasis on employment pipelines and sustained mentorship relationships that extend beyond the event.
