Take your nature walks to the next level! Join a naturalist for a guided hike and learn how to use beginner-friendly apps like iNaturalist and Merlin to identify the plants, birds, and other wildlife you encounter along the trail. We'll walk through the basics step by step in a supportive, no-pressure environment, so no prior experience is needed. By the end of the hike, you'll have the skills to start your own "life list"—a personal record of the species you've discovered—and a new way to explore the outdoors. Bring a smartphone or tablet if you have one. Downloading the iNaturalist and Merlin apps before the program is recommended.
